How to become a member of the Association and ranks of the members
1. Any person working in the field of journalism can become a member of the Association. Reporters, writers, photographers, cartoonists, artists, and editors who work full-time and part-time as a job, and freelancers who contribute to daily newspapers, magazines, or other types of journals, or registered online newspapers, or those who work openly in television and radio stations, can apply for membership of the Association and they will be shortlisted.
2. Members of the Association:
2.1 Full Members and Associate Members of the Association: Anyone working as a journalist as specified in Clause 7.1 of these guidelines can become a Full Member of the Association.
2.2 Associate Members shall be local and foreign organizations which are involved in media and the press.
2.3 Those who meet the requirements of Clause 7.1 who agree to the terms and conditions set by these Guidelines and who are 18 years of age have to fill in a Membership Form.
2.4 An Associate Member, unless otherwise specifically stated, will be treated as equivalent to an individual member of the Association.
